Summer update

Hello, puzzle lovers. This is ProfMeow for the SudokuCon team with your periodic update.

Wait, you ask, I never heard of this ProfMeow -- who's that? Well, I'm another member of the planning group: around here, we share the workload. Pronouns: she, or haec if you prefer Latin.

Other members of the planning group are busily working their extensive networks to line up workshop leaders and other presenters for next April's SudokuCon, based on discussion at our brain-streaming livestream on Twitch last month. Thanks to everyone who was there! More ideas are always welcome, especially if you know any rising stars in the sudoku world. We're also especially interested in finding female or non-binary puzzlers who are good presenters and who are doing interesting things with sudoku or other puzzles. (Yes, we're SudokuCon, but we're not Sudoku-Only-Con!)

In more technical news, we have moved our funds to a more convenient on-line bank so that multiple members of the planning group can pay bills and generally keep things going. We hope this will make our operation more efficient.

We're also working on a list of things to see in the Boston area, in case anyone wants to take a day for sight seeing. The Con itself, as you know, will be in Dedham, a suburb, but that's a comfortable half-hour train ride from central Boston. What kinds of attractions would you like to know about?
